AI literacy
From 2024, HeiCAD will be focusing more intensively on the topic of AI literacy. As part of the KI.edu.nrw project, which is being realized under the framework of the Digital University NRW in cooperation with Ruhr University Bochum and RWTH Aachen University and is funded by the Ministerium für Kultur und Wissenschaft (MKW) of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia, HeiCAD will focus on the area of how university lecturers can be taught skills in dealing with AI.

In terms of content, the second phase of the overall project will focus on artificial intelligence, learning analytics and AI literacy. A new addition is the increased interlinking of generative AI and learning analytics. As part of the cooperation, HeiCAD will produce information material on the topic of AI literacy and develop training and advisory services as well as an online learning offer for university lecturers to improve their skills in dealing with AI.
