Hardware for first own programs with AI

Zoom

Raspberry Pi with a connected Google Coral Edge-TPU

The models developed and trained by AI experts are already used in many of today's applications. But even the use of these models requires a lot of computing power from the computer or smartphone.

Since devices such as smartphones or notebooks often do not have this computing power available, Google has developed a cost-effective accelerator for this purpose and markets it under the name Google Coral Edge-TPU.

The ZIM of the HHU has purchased 10 of these systems and makes them available to interested scientists for testing.

Further details about the systems can be found at coral.withgoogle.com and Wiki of HPC-system.

If you are interested in one of the systems, please contact .
