The Heinrich Heine University of Düsseldorf has set itself the task of creating a low-threshold offer for all students, which promotes the skills of students in the field of artificial intelligence across all faculties. HeiCAD has succeeded in obtaining third-party funding for this project from the German federal and state programme "Artificial Intelligence in Higher Education". The continuing education project "AI for All" is being developed jointly by the Heine Centre for Artificial Intelligence and Data Science (HeiCAD) and the Service Centre for Good Teaching and Learning (SeLL).

A prerequisite-free online course has been created to make AI courses accessible to all HHU students and to enable the systematic acquisition of these skills. In addition to HHU students, the course is also available free of charge to other interested parties.

"AI for All" is designed to be integrated directly into degree programmes if they do not offer their own AI courses. Alternatively, individual elements of AI for All can be adopted and/or freely adapted for subject-specific, tailor-made courses.

More information about the project's courses and the materials available for use in your own courses can be found on the following pages.

To implement the project, professors from all faculties of the HHU have joined forces to develop and operate "AI for All" under the leadership of HeiCAD and with the involvement of SeLL:

Natalie Böddicker (SeLL), Prof. Dr. Svenja Caspers (Medicine), Prof. Dr. Stefan Dietze (Computer Science), Prof. Dr. Holger Gohlke (Pharmacy), Prof. Dr. Florian Heiß (Statistics and Econometrics), Prof. Dr. Frank Marcinkowski (Communication Science), Prof. Dr. Tobias Marschall (Bioinformatics), Prof. Dr. Martin Mauve (Computer Science), Prof. Dr. Regina Schober (English/American Studies), Prof. Dr. Birgit Strodel (Chemistry), Jun.
